Moving in Nicosia: what to plan for

Most Nicosia moves involve an apartment building, often with a small lift that cannot take a sofa or a wardrobe upright. We check the floor, the lift size and the stairwell beforehand and bring enough people so that large items can go down the stairs safely.

Inside the Venetian walls and in the older neighbourhoods around them, streets are narrow and parking close to the door is often impossible. There we plan where the truck will stand and how far items need to be carried.

Offices and businesses

Nicosia is the business and government centre of Cyprus, so many of our office relocations happen here: law and accounting firms, clinics, shops and small companies. We can move after hours or at weekends to keep your downtime to a minimum.

Summer heat

Nicosia is the hottest city on the island in July and August. In summer we prefer early starts, and we keep heat-sensitive items such as pianos, electronics and candles out of the sun.
